About Milton Says No

Welcome to MiltonSaysNo - we are a group of citizens that reside in Milton, Ontario & the surrounding Halton Region, who are opposed to the proposed location of a CN intermodal terminal (a 1,200 acre rail yard footprint) in South Milton. Our community organization is grassroots and citizen-run. Here you can find neighbours with similar concerns, and above all else where they can find information and suggested steps for opposing this development through all the proper channels.

We are not against an intermodal yard in Milton, nor are we against CN per se, but we are against this dangerous location and the negative impacts that would occur, most notably significant adverse effects to human health and the environment.

We strongly oppose the means by which CN is pushing this development by attempting to circumvent us at the town level. We are strongly opposed to the Trudeau government's 2021 approval of the project with unenforceable conditions...a decision that was overturned in Federal Court in March of 2024.
